My Story

I was bought up in a small village on Dartmoor in Devon, in a large family of 10 children.  I was very lucky to have a happy childhood running around in nature.  We had vegetable gardens and orchards.  I learnt to  cook and enjoyed it so much I went on to train as chef. I worked in the industry for many years. Unfortunately a period of ill health led to my career transition.

My personal journey started with my diagnosis following the birth of my children of fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and arthritis. Fibromyalgia is a very debilitating, tiring and painful syndrome, with an enormous amount of systemic symptoms. After struggling without a diagnosis and treatment for 12 years I had felt let down by the conventional health care system. So I sought alternatives and my nutritional therapy has turned around my own health.

Three of my four children also had health challenges. Understanding the limitations of conventional medicines and the adverse effects of both pharmaceuticals and surgeries I used alternative therapy to overcome their illness.

My training and experience in working as a chef and studying on many courses has given me a broad perspective to health and wellness.

I look forward to helping you with your journey.
